I was diagnosed with Stage IV Cancer in 1993 which immediately became the largest challenge in my life.
Now being in remission, I have the same desire to share my music today, as when I started nearly 40 years ago.
My Testimony and sharing through song has a unique call ones heart. It has been a motivational aspect of the ministry to help people come unto the Lord.

A native of Horry County, Joshua was born in Myrtle Beach, SC. Descending from a line of Godly men, his Great Grandfather, Lauren D. Clardy Sr. brought the first preacher to Myrtle Beach in a buggy on a Sunday afternoon in the spring of 1915.
They organized the beach’s first Sunday School in a little building behind the Myrtle Beach Farms Company Store. That was where the Myrtle Beach Methodist Church was born. (Credit; The Myrtle Beach Sun, July 26, 1961)
His Grandfather, Wallace D. Clardy Sr., was a Baptist Preacher and Gideon.
Mr. Clardy ministered in the greater Horry County area from 1960 to 2000 and pastored at Cool Springs Southern Methodist Church, Bakers Chapel Baptist Church, and Piney Grove Baptist Church.
His Father, Wallace D. “Sonny” Clardy Jr., was music minister at Socastee Baptist Church from 1983 until his call into full time music evangelism in 1999. Sonny has traveled and ministered to people from as far north as Delaware and as far south as Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He ministers by song and motivational speaking with “Life Blueprints” and plans to continue doing so until the Lord calls him home.
Joshua attended local public schools and the University of Alabama.
He was a commercial contractor and construction consultant from 2002-2020.
Joshua married his wife, Amber, in 2010 and they have three precious children, Kinsley, Joshua, and Aubrey.
Joshua serves as the Vice-President of Sonny Clardy Incorporated, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
God called Joshua into the Ministry in 2021, a calling he had on his life since childhood.
Joshua has a passion for reaching the unsaved by preaching Jesus Christ and him crucified. The edification of God’s people within the Church is paramount to his ministry. God’s promise to pour his blessing out upon us in the end days is now at hand and should spark revival and reach out across this land.
Upon his entering the ministry full time, he would appreciate the opportunity to share his testimony and minister to you and your church at any time.
